Submit Your Story
Your story may help someone feel understood, encouraged, or less alone. Every person’s journey is different, but the lessons we learn through challenge, healing, growth, and self-discovery often have the power to encourage others. You do not need to have a perfect life or a perfect ending to have something meaningful to share. Honest experiences, thoughtful reflections, and moments of personal growth can remind another young person that they are not walking their path alone.
Love Yourself Truly welcomes thoughtful contributions from teens, young adults, parents, caregivers, educators, professionals, and community members who wish to share stories, reflections, experiences, lessons learned, or personal perspectives related to self-worth, body image, confidence, identity, emotional wellbeing, healthy relationships, and personal growth.
Every person’s journey is unique. Some stories describe overcoming major challenges, while others simply reflect on a lesson learned through everyday life. Both have value. Sometimes the smallest moments create the greatest impact because they remind readers that growth often happens gradually rather than all at once.
By sharing your experiences, you may help someone else feel seen, supported, encouraged, and reminded that change is possible. Your words could become the reason another person decides to keep believing in themselves.
Submit Your Story, Reflection, or Experience
Your story has value. Whether your experience involves learning to accept yourself, overcoming self-doubt, navigating difficult relationships, improving your confidence, healing from setbacks, or discovering your own sense of purpose, your words may help someone else facing a similar challenge.
Submissions may include personal stories, reflections, life lessons, perspectives, encouragement, or practical insights connected to self-worth, body image, emotional wellbeing, healthy relationships, personal growth, and becoming the person you are meant to be.
We also welcome stories that do not have a dramatic ending. Sometimes describing one small step forward, one conversation that changed your perspective, or one lesson learned through experience can be just as meaningful as sharing a major life event. Real growth often happens quietly, and those quieter stories deserve to be heard.
Love Yourself Truly is built on the belief that growth is a lifelong journey. We welcome honest, respectful, and authentic contributions that help others better understand themselves, develop hope, and continue moving forward with courage and compassion.
Submissions are reviewed before publication to ensure they are appropriate for the section and its readers. Minor edits for spelling, grammar, formatting, readability, and safeguarding may be made while respecting the author’s voice, experiences, and intended message.
Not every submission will be published, but every submission will be received with care, appreciation, and respect.

A Note About Safety and Support
Love Yourself Truly is a space for encouragement, reflection, education, and personal growth. While many stories include difficult experiences, this section is not intended to provide crisis intervention, medical advice, or professional mental health treatment.
To help protect our readers, the Foundation may choose not to publish submissions that could unintentionally place vulnerable individuals at greater risk or that do not align with our safeguarding principles. Our goal is to create a collection of stories that offers hope, compassion, healthy reflection, and practical encouragement.
If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or concerns about personal safety, please seek immediate support from a trusted adult, qualified mental health professional, emergency services, or an appropriate local crisis support resource before submitting your story.
Every story shared within Love Yourself Truly is intended to remind readers that healing is possible, growth is possible, and no one has to face life’s challenges completely alone.
“Your story may be part of someone else’s healing, growth, or beginning.”
