The 101 Roses Foundation is a suicide prevention and awareness foundation founded in May 2026 in loving memory of Anna-Mariya. Our mission is to raise suicide awareness, promote suicide prevention, provide educational resources, and support young people, families, and communities, with a special focus on Ukrainian teens.

As a suicide prevention foundation, we believe awareness, education, communication, and compassion can help young people feel less alone during moments of emotional pain, crisis, or hopelessness.

Anna-Mariya did not live long enough to fulfil her potential of changing the world. Through the 101 Roses Foundation, we hope to continue that possibility in her honour and in her memory.

Through this foundation, we will attempt to give meaning to both her life and her death. We may not change the world, but if we can play even a small part in saving one life, or sparing one family from the grief of losing a child to suicide, then Anna-Mariya will have made a difference to that family.

We cannot bring Anna-Mariya back, but through awareness, education, compassion, and prevention, we hope our efforts may help save another young person who is struggling.

The 101 Roses Foundation is a not-for-profit foundation. Everyone involved works strictly on a 100% volunteer basis. No one receives payment for their time, care, or commitment.

Any funds donated to the foundation go strictly toward supporting our operating expenses, such as web hosting, domain registration, website maintenance, SEO services, educational resources, and other costs required to keep the foundation visible, accessible, and growing.

Why Suicide Prevention and Awareness Matters

Suicide prevention and awareness matters because every life has value. Behind every statistic is a son, daughter, friend, student, sibling, classmate, or loved one whose life matters deeply to others. A responsible suicide prevention and awareness foundation works to reduce stigma, increase awareness, and help people understand that support is available.

For evidence-based information about suicide prevention and awareness, we encourage visitors to learn from trusted external resources such as the World Health Organization suicide prevention resources, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, and Lifeline Ukraine.

Supporting Ukrainian Teens

Our focus is particularly centred on Ukrainian teens. Young people today face social pressures, isolation, anxiety, uncertainty, trauma, displacement, and the long-term effects of war.

Through educational resources, mental health information, crisis support links, and suicide prevention materials, we strive to make trusted information accessible to anyone who may be struggling or supporting someone in distress.

Visitors can explore our internal support pages, including For Teens, Resources for Teens, Assistance for Teens, and Mental Health and Crisis Support Resources in Ukraine .

Turning Grief Into Purpose

The foundation was born from profound loss. Anna-Mariya’s life ended far too soon, leaving behind family, friends, classmates, teachers, and a community forever changed by her absence.

Rather than allowing grief to become the final chapter of Anna-Mariya’s story, we hope to transform grief into action.

Families, parents, friends, and loved ones affected by suicide loss can visit our Grief Support page for bereavement support, healing resources, and compassionate guidance.

Building a Legacy of Hope

If even one family is spared the unimaginable grief of losing a child to suicide because of something they learned through this foundation, then Anna-Mariya’s legacy will continue to make a difference in the lives of others.

As a not-for-profit suicide prevention foundation, transparency is important to us.

To support our work, visitors may learn more about volunteering or making a donation.

We hope that the 101 Roses Foundation becomes more than a website. We hope it becomes a reminder that every life matters, every conversation has value, and every act of kindness has the potential to change someone’s future.

“We may not change the world, but if we can help save one life, then Anna-Mariya will have made a difference.”
